Juan Pablo Prelle, Founder & CEO.
Sociologist from the University of Edinburgh, passionate mountain biker and foodie with a solid background in sales and sourcing roles in the organic and natural food industry.
Juan Pablo’s story began with quinoa as he sought to create value for underprivileged communities in his native Peru. He had the privilege of working with some of the pioneers in the industry and learning first hand about the many challenges in organic agriculture. Once he
moved over to the buy-side, he was able to expand his knowledge to other commodities and build solid partnerships across multiple origins.
It was this exposure to the various layers of trade that percolated into what was to become Origin Partner.

Luis Flores, Operations Manager.
Industrial Engineer from the University of San Marcos, avid soccer fan and family man with over 15 years building supply chains across Latin America and the United States.
Luis has been working alongside Juan Pablo for the past 10 years in everything from sales to sourcing. He co-founded a foodtech company that made it into Forbes’ Top 100 Startups of Peru.
His role at Origin Partner is critical to the company’s growth and overall structure as we aim to provide the highest level of operational support to our clients.
